Overview & Responsibilities:
This Corporate FP&A position will support the ongoing oversight and management of the “lifetime” profitability estimates for our Feature Films (Ultimates).
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Maintain the 10‐year ultimates for Paramount feature films.
- Maintain financial models to forecast revenues and costs on a film-by-film basis.
- Coordinate with Distribution Groups and manage submission process of estimates into our Ultimates Hyperion System.
- Manage preparation and presentation of film slate profitability reporting to senior management.
- Prepare summaries of ultimate estimates for outside reporting obligations for review by senior management.
- Analyze anticipated film performance comparing actuals against forecast.
- Support financial planning activities for Paramount Pictures, including coordination with Business Units to prepare annual Budget, periodic updates, long range plan, and various ad-hoc analyses.
- Provide support to other areas of the team including Greenlight & Deal Analysis, P&L and Cash Forecasting.
- Identify opportunities for continuous process improvement.
- Complete what-if analysis and ad hoc analysis as needed.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Minimum 2 years professional experience in Finance and/or Accounting.
Additional Qualifications:
- Strong financial modeling Excel capabilities and understanding of financial statements.
- Proficient in Excel & Powerpoint.
- Working knowledge of Hyperion and Essbase preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to interface with various professionals at all levels.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Team player with a demonstrated ability to operate in a cross-functional team environment.
- Entertainment or media industry experience strongly preferred!
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Hiring Salary Range: $60,000.00 - 70,000.00.
