The Marketing Coordinator is an entry-level marketing position responsible for providing support to the marketing team with day-to-day operations, while upholding consistent brand standards and guidelines throughout the credit union and its branches. Oversees communication between Marketing and retail branches through monthly marketing liaison meetings, maintenance of the promotions portal page, regular branch visits and marketing supply management. Oversees inventory of promotional supplies and vendor management including, but not limited to digital storefront for marketing supplies. Assists with miscellaneous advertising and copywriting support as assigned. Assists in planning and working events and presentations.
- Branch Communication and Coordination
- Manages communication between Marketing and Retail.
- Coordinates and leads monthly marketing liaison meetings.
- Conducts quarterly branch audits to ensure all marketing materials, signage, etc. are compliant and up-to-date.
- Manages Marketing Promotions page on intranet site to ensure all employees are educated about campaigns and promotions.
- Supplies and Vendor Management
- Manages marketing supplies for the credit union, including business cards, brochures, etc. on our digital storefront as well as in our on-site storage areas.
- Works with vendors and credit union staff to research and purchase competitively-priced and creative promotional items while remaining within budget.
- Manages production of direct mail, print materials, etc.
- Processes and tracks invoices.
- Supports Community Relations Specialist with Banzai management and communication.
- Advertising/Copywriting Support
- Writes and submits marketing messages for statements, statement envelopes, teller receipts and on-hold recordings.
- Edits forms for branches and support departments to ensure brand consistency, as assigned.
- Responds to Marketing Help Desk requests as assigned.
- Coordinates Compliance reviews of all non-digital materials.
- Maintains the storefront advertising at the Win Hentschel Blvd. Branch.
- Event Support
- Plans miscellaneous events and tabling efforts from in-branch promotions to retirement parties.
- Provides support for community events, tabling activities and presentations, as needed.
Required Skills
Knowledge, Skill, and Ability Requirements
- Minimum 4 Year / Bachelors Degree Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communication, Advertising, Public Relations or related field.
- Relevant experience in place of degree will be considered.
- This is the entry-level position on our Marketing team.
- Preferred Professional experience through a marketing or communication internship preferred, but not required.
