Job Title: Technical Writer - II
Location: Irving, Texas
Duration: 06 Months W2
Shift: 8 AM - 5 PM
Job Description:
Required Skills:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word
- Strong attention to detail
- Experience in creating procedural instruction manuals and service manuals
- Ability to collaborate with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to gather technical information
Project & Responsibilities:
- Developing and updating technical service bulletins and procedural documentation
- Creating new documentation from scratch and revising existing materials
- Collaborating closely with R&D teams and SMEs to gather and analyze technical details
- Ensuring documentation meets quality standards, is clear, accurate, and adheres to established guidelines
- Producing content primarily related to medical device software and laboratory systems
Software Requirements:
- Mandatory: Microsoft Word
- Preferred: Madcap Flare (not currently in use)
- Bonus: Experience with other authoring tools
Industry Preferences:
- Strong preference for candidates with experience in the medical device industry
Education & Experience:
- Required: 2-4 years of technical writing experience, regardless of educational background
