Position: Sales/Design Consultant/ Showroom Sales
Location: Sudbury, MA

We are a vibrant, successful and privately-owned flooring business located in beautiful Sudbury, MA. For more than 40 years, we've offered the most up to date flooring products the industry has to offer featuring; Carpet, Custom bound hall, stair and area rug fabrication, hardwood, LVT, rubber and more. With an increase in demand for our services, we are looking for a Showroom Sales Design Consultant to join our growing team 95% of the time will be in the showroom and 5% going to a customers home to take a measurement or for project consulting. This individual is responsible for assisting customers in the showroom to find the right style and design that fits their appeal as well as sales support for outside sales members. The Sales Design Consultant provides customers with quotes and uses our software system to input information.

Expectations of Sales Consultant:
• Support and present flooring to retail customers in the showroom
• Work with customers giving product knowledge design advice
• Work with estimators to determine proper products installation
• Create sales orders in software
• Follow up with potential customers and Schedule estimates with customers
• Communicate with customers to ensure sale to installation goes smoothly

•Offer sales support to the company’s outside sales team
• Stay up to date on new products and design trends
• Support and file claims with vendors

Key Qualifications:
• Excellent oral written communication skills
• Organization time management skills
• Self-motivated and ambitious
• Floor covering experience is a plus or related sale or design experience
• Relationship builder, positive attitude and enthusiasm for the products

Showroom Hours: Monday - Friday 9-5:00, Saturday 10-3:00 and closed on Sunday. (5 day work week) Expect to work a minimum of three Saturday's a month.
