Job Description:
Point Washington United Methodist Church (PWUMC) is a thriving community of faith in one of the fastest-growing counties in the United States. An historic congregation of the United Methodist Church, PWUMC offers both traditional and contemporary worship services and engages members in mission and outreach within our community and beyond. Located on the shores of paradise – between Choctawhatchee Bay and the white beaches of Florida’s 30A – we are a church home to locals, part-time residents, and visitors.
The Assistant Director of Music Ministry/Pianist is a full-time role vital to our musical life. Responsibilities include providing piano accompaniment for worship services and supporting the music ministry. The role also involves leading the Music Academy, connecting with our community by helping children and learners experience the beauty of music and its role in spiritual growth. The individual must be a team player, under the direction of the Director of Music Ministry, and a committed follower of Jesus Christ, inspiring others through leadership.
