Job Description
Fox News Audio is seeking a Podcast Coordinator to join the dynamic FOX News Podcast Network. The Podcast Coordinator will support the Podcast Producers by scheduling, booking, sourcing sound bites, and assisting in the production of FOX News Audio’s daily and weekly podcasts. Additionally, they will create social media content and website write-ups to promote the podcasts.
A Snapshot Of Your Responsibilities
- Coordinate programming and platform placement across the FOX News podcast portfolio.
- Assist in producing podcast segments, coordinate with reporters, talent, and manage live remote recordings.
- Maintain clear communication with reporters, editors, assignment desk, and anchors.
- Update content on platforms as stories develop.
- Collaborate with producers on story development and new content creation.
- Create social media posts to promote podcasts across multiple platforms.
- Work with producers to fact-check scripts, QC audio quality, and ensure content meets editorial and CMS standards.
- Assist in the editorial structuring of podcast content as needed.
- Experience editing all-news radio or producing podcast programming.
- Strong writing and copy editing skills.
- Proficiency in digital journalism and social media management.
- Decisiveness during breaking news and routine shifts.
- Ability to interact professionally with high-profile talent.
- Excellent communication skills, positive attitude, and team collaboration.
- Creative, out-of-the-box thinking.
- Prior journalism experience, preferably in an audio newsroom.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and early mornings.
- Knowledge of iNews, ENCO, and Adobe Audition (Cool-Edit) is a plus.
The pay rate for this role is $21.00-$25.00 per hour, dependent on education, skills, experience, and location. Benefits include medical/dental/vision insurance, 401(k), paid time off, and more, in accordance with applicable plans and agreements. #J-18808-Ljbffr
