Senior Director of Brand Marketing
to shape the next evolution of Rebel Athletic, leading with creativity, strategy, and a relentless pursuit of excellence. About the Role
Reporting directly to the Chief Marketing Officer (CMO), with direct collaboration with the CEO and Chief of Design, this role is responsible for executing the brand vision set by leadership. As the Senior Director of Brand Marketing, you will lead a dynamic team of 10 to 12 creative, driven marketers who thrive on innovation and excellence. Your mission? Elevate the Rebel brand, maintaining our high visual standards, ensuring that every campaign, product launch, and customer touchpoint reinforces our position as a luxury powerhouse. This role positions the right candidate for future executive leadership, including the CMO role. Key Responsibilities
Brand Strategy & Execution:
Lead and execute a strategic vision that enhances Rebel's luxury positioning across both B2B and B2C markets. Omnichannel Marketing Leadership:
Develop and oversee multi-platform marketing campaigns, integrating digital, social, e-commerce, retail, and experiential marketing to maximize brand impact. Creative & Team Leadership:
Inspire and guide a team of 10-12 highly creative, fun, and driven marketing professionals, ensuring alignment with Rebel's elite brand standards. Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Partner closely with the Chief of Design, Sales, and Product Teams to ensure marketing efforts align with product innovation and business objectives. Brand Storytelling & Customer Engagement:
Develop compelling brand narratives and activations that foster deep emotional connections with our audience. Data-Driven Decision Making:
Leverage analytics, consumer insights, and industry trends to refine strategies and measure campaign effectiveness. Luxury Positioning & Market Expansion:
Ensure Rebel maintains its reputation as a luxury brand while exploring new opportunities for growth in the premium performance apparel space. Executive Communication:
Work closely with the CMO, CEO, and Chief of Design, presenting strategic recommendations and ensuring brand alignment across all levels of the business. What We're Looking For
10+ years of experience in brand marketing, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role. A background in luxury, premium, or aspirational brands across industries such as high-end sportswear, fashion, beauty, lifestyle, or fitness. Experience managing both B2B and B2C brand execution at a high level. A proven track record of building and leading high-performing creative and marketing teams. Expertise in omnichannel marketing, including digital, e-commerce, social media, retail, experiential marketing, and influencer strategy. Strong ability to drive brand storytelling, community engagement, and experiential activations. Agility and adaptability - someone who thrives in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment. Exceptional collaborator and communicator, comfortable working closely with executive leadership and cross-functional teams. Ability to balance creativity with business strategy, ensuring that marketing initiatives drive both brand prestige and revenue growth. Bonus Points If You Have:
Experience with global brand expansion or international marketing strategies. A background in luxury sportswear, athleisure, or high-end performance apparel. A strong understanding of influencer and ambassador marketing, leveraging community engagement to build brand loyalty. Why Rebel?
