Content Summary: Front End Web Designer at Strongsville, for Foundation Software Front-End Web Designer Foundation Software is looking for a Front-End Web Designer to join our marketing team with a focus on building and maintaining WordPress-based websites across multiple product brands. This is a hybrid position based at our corporate campus in Strongsville, Ohio. In this role, you'll be responsible for creating visually engaging, high-performing and user-friendly pages that support our marketing initiatives. You'll work closely with our Webmaster to integrate front-end components into a well-structured site architecture. Additionally, you'll collaborate with our project management, design, content and digital teams to bring campaigns to life, enhance user engagement and increase marketing conversions. Responsibilities: Develop, maintain and optimize responsive WordPress pages and templates that align with brand design guides. Customize and enhance WordPress themes and plugins to meet marketing needs. Design and create wireframes concepts for new webpage formats. Work closely with key stakeholders, project managers, designers and the content team to ensure seamless implementation of UI/UX designs. Collaborate with the Webmaster to integrate front-end elements with back-end functionality. Optimize web pages for SEO, performance and accessibility best practices. Ensure cross-browser compatibility and mobile responsiveness across multiple brand websites. Utilize Git/GitHub for version control and collaboration. Troubleshoot and resolve front-end issues, ensuring a smooth user experience. Stay up to date with the latest WordPress trends, front-end technologies and digital marketing best practices. Requirements: Strong experience with WordPress development, including theme customization and page builders (e.g., Cornerstone, Elementor, WPBakery, or Gutenberg). Proficiency in HTML, CSS and JavaScript for front-end development. Familiarity with CSS preprocessors (e.g., Sass, LESS) and responsive design principles. Experience with SEO best practices and website performance optimization. Proficiency in version control systems (Git/GitHub) to collaborate effectively with the Webmaster. Ability to work with APIs and integrate third-party tools (e.g., analytics, marketing automation). Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to collaborate in a fast-paced environment. Nice to Have: Experience with A/B testing and conversion rate optimization (CRO). Familiarity with PHP for minor WordPress customizations. Understanding of digital marketing workflows and campaign implementation.
