As a
Senior Technical Content Developer, D&M Data and Processes
at Autodesk, you will play a crucial role in the Content Strategy & Experience team within Customer Technical Success (CTS). Your responsibility will be to ensure the delivery of high-quality product expertise to customers through impactful content experiences, supporting their learning, adoption, and use of Autodesk's platform. You will join a global team of content creators focusing on designing integrated omni-channel, audience-centric content plans and continuously improving content to drive customer success. Your focus will be on orchestrating content development for customers and partners, with a clear emphasis on Autodesk Design & Manufacturing (D&M) Data and Processes digital support experiences, working closely with peers involved in Design & Manufacturing solutions. Responsibilities
Collaborate with stakeholders, utilize customer and product insights to
create audience-focused content plans
that enhance customers' post-purchase digital support experience across D&M Data and Process solutions. This involves proactively designing and implementing programs to manage the entire content lifecycle, aligning content formats with customer needs at the right time and through appropriate delivery systems. Additionally, plan and implement content integration for new products to ensure seamless transitions and consistent user experiences.
Use data-driven insights and product expertise to improve content that increases consumption and findability of the D&M platform through digital channels, with a focus on solutions like Vault, Fusion Manage, Upchain, and Fusion Teams. Ensure content is published accurately, is easy to consume, and is optimized for delivery across channels, especially through search engines (SEO) and Large Language Models (LLMs).
Monitor the effectiveness of technical content development, providing actionable recommendations and insights for D&M Data and Process solutions. Guide and train CTS staff on best practices for content creation, emphasizing efficiency and quality.
Represent CTS at industry events, both internally and externally (such as tech series, booths, product overviews), to build trust and authority through clear communication, alignment, and delivering significant outcomes.
Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in content strategy. Incorporate relevant insights into the team to foster a culture of innovation and knowledge sharing.
Minimum Qualifications
Knowledge of the D&M industry and essential product expertise with Autodesk Fusion & Vault. Additional expertise with Fusion Manage, Upchain, and Fusion Teams is preferred.
At least 5 years of experience in creating and managing audience-focused content plans, analyzing audiences, and handling the entire content lifecycle, including writing and editing technical content.
Excellent communication, project management, and stakeholder engagement skills, capable of translating strategic plans into clear tasks, prioritizing based on impact, simplifying complex projects, and driving progress.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Self-motivated with proven ability to work independently and collaborate across various levels and locations.
Good understanding of customer support operations, knowledge management, and self-service strategies.
Familiarity with content management systems (CMS), authoring tools, SEO, and Large Language Models.
Experience in training staff on content creation best practices is a plus.
