Experience and proficiency with ESRI Suite products (ArcGIS Pro)
Must enjoy the outdoors and be comfortable with some field work
Nice to Have Skills & Experience Experience within utilities, telecom, engineering consulting, or a similar industry GIS certificate
Job Description Insight Global is searching for a GIS Technician for one of their power distribution and utilities engineering consulting client's locations in the Birmingham area. This is an entry to mid-level role that has a ton of opportunity to grow. This individual must have a data driven mindset and curious to learn new skills. An average day for this individual will consist of taking the data that has been collected by the Field Technicians and implementing it for the engineers. This role is more on the data implementation side than land surveying experience.
