Overview: Join our team in an entry-level design position where you will be responsible for providing distribution design project management to commercial, industrial, residential, and internal customers. As a key point of contact for both future and existing customers, you will create cost-effective designs that align with Xcel Energy's standards and guidelines. This role involves managing projects from inception to completion, ensuring safe operating facilities, obtaining necessary permits and easements, and fostering positive relationships with various stakeholders.

Responsibilities: - Manage projects throughout the entire lifecycle, from initial customer contact to post-project analysis. - Develop and oversee construction work plans to meet customer schedules, design requirements, and financial constraints. - Design safe operating facilities in compliance with Xcel Energy standards while maximizing cost-effectiveness. - Generate additional revenue through contracts with new or existing customers. - Secure permits and easements following relevant regulations and guidelines. - Represent the company in interactions with government officials, contractors, agencies, vendors, architects, and engineers.
