Architectural Designer/Drafter (Custom Residential & Home Renovation Design)

We are currently in search of a CAD/Architectural Designer for a residential construction firm, with a focus on new homes and renovations. The right candidate will have the opportunity to work on innovative, high-end designs and collaborate with an experienced team. This position offers great potential for growth in the field of residential design and architecture.
Responsibilities: Designing and drafting detailed plans for residential custom homes and renovations. Creating As-Built Drawings for existing homes. Collaborating closely with architects, engineers, and clients to achieve project goals. Producing precise technical drawings using AutoCAD, Chief Architect or other CAD or BIM software. Ensuring designs comply with building codes, regulations, and industry standards. Translating architectural concepts into accurate technical plans. Demonstrating a keen eye for detail and strong organizational skills. Effectively communicating and working as part of a collaborative team.
Qualifications: Licensed architect is helpful but not required. Must have 5+ years of experience designing residential/custom homes and renovations. Proficiency in AutoCAD and experience using SketchUp is highly preferred. Knowledge of local building codes, regulations, and industry standards. Strong portfolio demonstrating design talent and technical skills. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
