Global Resource Solutions, Inc. (GRS) is seeking an enthusiastic, motivated, and talented individual for the position of Technical Editor.
Job Description
Summary: The Technical Editor will support clients' customers and programs by facilitating vulnerability assessments, supporting the mission assurance department, and performing performance analysis in support of DoD and client efforts.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Review, edit, and format products produced within NE-MA De, ensuring adherence to updated reporting formats.
- Edit and revise content for clarity, accuracy, grammar, punctuation, and consistency.
- Collaborate with team members to gather necessary information and context for accurate editing.
- Ensure the release of accurate and professional documents regarding performance vulnerability and adversarial assessments, transforming complex technical content into clear, concise, and reader-friendly documents.
- Enhance overall readability and flow of documents while maintaining technical integrity.
- Work closely with Assessment Teams to understand the scope and details of assignments, providing real-time editing support.
- Perform final proofreading to eliminate errors, typos, and formatting inconsistencies.
- Verify the accuracy of data, references, and citations, ensuring proper documentation.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university.
- Four or more years’ experience in data analytics; additional data science experience on similar projects may substitute for a degree.
- Willingness to travel within the continental United States up to four times annually (10-20%).
Security Requirements
- Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.
Skills
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and related software.
Physical Requirements
Ability to sit, bend, reach, stoop, squat, stand, and walk.
Communication
Excellent customer service skills via phone and face-to-face, with strong written and oral command of English.
