Consultants are responsible for the effective day-to-day delivery of communication solutions to our clients and maintain the overall accountability of a variety of work stream projects. They maintain business relationships with clients to maximize growth, retention and business value. In essence, they are the face and quarterback of daily client work. Consultants must be comfortable with a fast-paced work environment, committed to deadlines and agile to change. This role requires high collaboration with members of the Client Service, Creative and Digital Team to deliver amazing experiences for audiences and measurable results for our client. Client Delivery: Accountable for the day-to-day quality, timeliness and overall standard of all project work produced for assigned clients. Ownership and coordination of client projects and project plans. Manage projects in line with our processes, to ensure quality and efficiency. Financial management estimating, scoping and budget management. Develop recommendations to meet client needs. Attend client meetings, conference calls and manage the day-to-day relationship with assigned clients. Take full responsibility and accountability for ensuring that kick-off right foot meetings are held, thorough scoping (including success criteria is defined at the outset) and last step meetings are held for most of your projects. Relationships: Build strong relationships that enable day-to-day account, project and stakeholder management and, ultimately, successful and effective project implementation. Daily engagement with creative, copywriting, digital and strategy teams. Provide a professional, high-quality service to all clients, colleagues and other third parties. Proactively manage all stakeholder expectations (internal and external), always aiming to exceed those expectations where possible. Mitigate project conflicts by proactively seeking outcomes that are acceptable to all stakeholders. Build strong, collaborative and respectful relationships with our suppliers. Administration: Take full responsibility and accountability for tracking all budgets and recoverability on a monthly basis for all clients you are involved with and complete the first draft invoicing process for all of those clients. Weekly completion and distribution of client status reports during live projects. Completion and distribution of contact reports within 48hrs of a client meeting. Accurate financial forecasting based on project plan management Ensure all jobs have a statement of work approved by internal stakeholders and the client. Accurately record all chargeable and non-chargeable time. Create award submissions for outstanding projects Participate in at least one team presentation / thought leadership piece annually Client Development and growth plans Liaise with suppliers to chase invoices for the monthly invoicing process, where required. Business development : Drive clients yearly client development plans for a number of clients. Ensure the profitable growth of the business by identifying and proactively developing opportunities to secure additional revenue from existing small clients. Working with Senior Consultant, contribute to the preparation and delivery of proposals and presentations for use in new business and marketing opportunities. Attend new business pitches and meetings and lead the on-boarding of new clients when required. About you : Required: Bachelor's degree and 5 years related experience OR High School Diploma/GED and 10 years related experience
Preferred: Technical Knowledge Competent technical specialist in employee benefits and internal communications. Experience Creative agency, marketing, consultancy or HR/Benefits communication experience preferred. 5+ years of project and client management experience required. 5+ years of supplier and stakeholder management required. Skills/other No egos. We want open, honest, optimistic and collaborative. Service orientated: outstanding customer service, ability to translate client needs, demonstrates commerciality in their actions, management of expectations, developing and maintaining strong relationships. Excellent organization skills, with ability to work to tight deadlines and manage multiple tasks. Core consulting skills in communication and project implementation, including proactivity, questioning, listening and taking a collaborative/partnership approach with clients (not ordertaking). Ability to work under pressure, solve problems and develop workable solutions. High level of accuracy and attention to detail in all areas of work, including ability to produce high standards of documentation. Confidence to challenge and negotiate with internal and external stakeholders when required. Able to deal with change in a positive way. High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office and computing skills. Creative and technical copywriting and copy-editing. Experience of proofreading.
