Prime Video is a premium streaming service that offers a vast collection of digital videos—all with the ease of customers finding what they love to watch in one place.
We are looking for a talented Sr. Product Manager to support Prime Video's sports experience. This is a strategic role to shape and deliver our product strategy in developing and delivering new and existing Live Sports offerings to customers worldwide, ensuring customers can easily find and subscribe to new sports channels offered on Prime Video.
Key job responsibilities
This role is critical in ensuring Prime Video meets our customers' high expectations and always helps them find new and relevant Live content. This role is inherently cross-functional - you will work closely with engineering, project management, design, operations, finance, legal, business development, customer service, content acquisition, operations, and executive teams to bring events to market, develop and grow business opportunities, and enhance our customer experience.
A successful candidate will be highly analytical, able to work effectively in a matrix organization, and adept at synthesizing a variety of inputs to deliver high quality products and solutions. You will own regular communication and presentations with senior leadership on technology, dependency management, availability, quality, and product health.
The ideal candidate will be a passionate sports fan with a history of delivering broadly adopted technology products or services in a high growth environment. You should be a strong leader who can prioritize well, communicate clearly and compellingly, and understand how to drive a high level of focus and excellence. You should have keen business sense and also have developed a deep understanding of technology.
A day in the life
This role will work cross functionally with internal partners from tech, bizdev, product, program and UX to build the best experience for our customers as well as with external partners from our partner leagues.
About the team
We are a team of passionate sports fans excited about innovating and changing the game for sports streaming. Our team is spread across Seattle, Austin, New York and Washington DC.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree
- 5+ years of technical product or program management experience
- 2+ years of end to end product delivery experience
- Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product
- Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
- Experience managing technical products or online services
- Experience in representing and advocating for a variety of critical customers and stakeholders during executive-level prioritization and planning
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience in using analytical tools, such as Tableau, Qlikview, QuickSight
- Experience in building and driving adoption of new tools
