Your Role
As the Store Visual Manager, Visual Excellence, you will implement the visual strategy within your flagship store and report to the Director, Visual Merchandising. As a strategic partner, you will lead the execution of seasonal directives and concepts, merchandising guidelines, styling, and merchandising standards along with brand partner installations. You'll lead the development of the visual stylists to create an inspiring environment including merchandising and visual installations, contributing to our client experience. You will collaborate with functional partners, including corporate creative teams, regional teams, and store leaders to increase sales, productivity, and profitability.
What You'll Do
- Develop the store visual stylists by communicating clear direction and timelines, reviewing quality of work, providing feedback and recognition. Ensure all store signing is current, keep mannequin presentations current, maintain weekly beauty set up’s, and implement photo assignments.
- Recruit talent for open roles, retain talent and develop a bench for future growth in partnership with Visual Director.
- Promote a customer-centric culture with performance in stores and through collaboration.
- Build relationships across multiple levels within and outside the organization, including store and corporate teams. Functional partners include, store leadership, brand experience, sales excellence, brand partners, and operations.
- Work with regional visual and complete seasonal and monthly creative directives, e.g. (Holiday campaigns, store windows, in-store installations, mannequin styling).
- Oversee the accountability of daily store standards including signage, loss prevention protection standards, overall floor maintenance and stock fill in, in partnership with store leaders and brand partners.
- Communicate and follow up on brand partner merchandising guidelines, including monthly floor sets, photo review and daily maintenance, in partnership with store leaders and selling team members.
- Manage the store visual supply budget, including store supplies and projects in partnership with the Sr RPSO.
- Ensure calendar timelines are met.
- Weekly store walk through with General Manager and attend all leadership meetings.
What You Bring
- 3+ years of visual experience.
- 2+ leadership experience.
- Ability to partner with all levels and areas of the organization, establish close working relationships, and support for improvement opportunities.
- Ability to identify operational improvement opportunities and work with others to identify solutions.
- Ability to propel advancement.
- Provide business expertise.
- Previous experience navigating complex business problems, collaborating with leads across multiple departments, presenting at the executive level. Implementing large-scale projects for your store.
- Advanced proficiency with MS Excel and PowerPoint.
- Certain roles may require standing, bending, climbing stairs, and lifting and carrying up to 10 pounds.
- Associates must work a flexible schedule based on business need, which will include evenings, weekends, and holidays.
