About the Role
As a Graphic Designer specializing in Brand Design and Standards, you will be essential in creating impactful environmental graphics and signage that enhance brand identity and user experience. This role requires combining creative vision with technical expertise to deliver designs that are aesthetically pleasing, functional, and compliant with regulatory standards. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, advising on materials and installation, while also mentoring fellow designers to uphold best practices.
Responsibilities
- Design and oversee the creation of interior and exterior signage, environmental graphics, and bespoke 3D environmental installations.
- Develop and manage sign and environmental graphic location plans, message schedules, and design intent/bid documents.
- Collaborate with the Brand and Design teams to review and advise on zoning, code compliance, lease exhibits, materiality, fabrication, and installation processes.
- Extract and refine elevations from Revit models to support design development.
- Deliver comprehensive workplace and code-compliant signage programs.
- Assist project teams with design presentations, site surveys, design intent documentation, shop drawings, and sample submittals as needed.
- Partner with Project Managers to ensure all projects adhere to relevant codes and regulations.
- Mentor and educate designers on fabrication methods and best practices.
- Oversee the development and refinement of checklists, standards, and best practices for design and implementation processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree (or foreign equivalent) in Architecture, Interior Design, Graphic Design, or a related field.
- 5+ years of progressive post-bachelor's degree design experience.
- Proficiency in industry-standard design software, including Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop), CAD tools, Enscape, and Rhino.
- Expertise in creating sign location plans using Revit.
- Demonstrated experience in implementing interior and exterior signage and environmental graphic programs, including programming, message schedules, documentation, and installation.
- Strong understanding of fabrication methods, materiality, and installation processes.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across multidisciplinary teams.
- This is an on-site position based in Miami, FL. The successful candidate must reside in or relocate to the Miami area upon acceptance.
