Job Description Job Title: Physician Assistant-Certified (PA-C) Profession: Physician Assistant Specialty: Occupational Medicine Duration: Ongoing Shift: Monday-Friday Hours per Shift: 8:00 AM - Close (4:30 PM, may be delayed by walk-in injuries) Experience: Minimum years of experience required License: Active Virginia license required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, Board Certified, DOT Certification required
Must-Have: Current immunizations for Influenza, COVID, TB, and MMR
Description: Seeking a skilled and dedicated Physician Assistant-Certified (PA-C) for locum coverage. Responsibilities include providing coverage between two clinics during provider absences. Coverage dates will vary as needed to support full-time providers. The practice setting is Occupational Health, with an average patient load of 8-10 per day. Documentation is managed through an electronic system. There are five exam rooms available and a support staff including RNs, RTs, MAs, LPNs, and office personnel. Required duties involve pre-employment physicals, return-to-duty testing, DOT physicals, and workers' compensation injury care. Travel reimbursement is available up to a specified lodging cap. Preferred travel should occur outside of scheduled hours.
