We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Manager of Advertising to lead and execute our advertising strategies across various channels. The Senior Manager will oversee the planning, development, and optimization of all advertising campaigns to drive brand awareness, customer acquisition, and business growth. This role requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of digital marketing, creative advertising solutions, and data-driven decision-making. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing advertising teams and collaborating across departments to achieve organizational goals.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Lead the strategic planning, execution, and optimization of advertising initiatives across digital, retail media, and omnichannel platforms.
- Leverage a dedicated team of specialists and account managers to support the execution of campaigns, performance analysis, and ongoing optimization, ensuring that strategic priorities are met efficiently and effectively.
- Drive the development and implementation of annual advertising budgets and media plans, ensuring alignment with overarching brand and organizational goals.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including brand management, creative, and sales, to ensure cohesive messaging and integrated advertising efforts.
- Analyze advertising performance metrics, such as iROAS, ACoS, and other KPIs, to provide actionable insights and continuously optimize campaigns.
- Maintain and develop relationships with advertising partners, agencies, and platform representatives to leverage cutting-edge tools and technologies.
- Oversee creative brief development to guide internal and external teams in the production of impactful advertising content.
- Identify growth opportunities and optimize ad spend allocation based on SKU/category performance and business priorities.
- Mentor and guide direct reports, equipping them with the skills and knowledge needed to execute campaigns, analyze performance, and deliver results.
Essential Functions/Job Duties:
- Lead the creation of full-funnel advertising campaigns, from awareness to conversion, leveraging a mix of Sponsored Ads, DSP, and display media across eCommerce and omnichannel platforms.
- Develop advanced audience strategies, utilizing tools such as retail media DSPs, Google Ads, and LiveRamp for precise targeting and higher conversion rates.
- Oversee DSP campaigns to drive traffic and incremental sales by focusing on audience building, inventory management, and media buy optimization.
- Partner with retail account teams to align advertising strategies with in-store merchandising, promotions, and distribution goals.
- Conduct deep-dive analyses into campaign performance metrics (e.g., ROAS, ACoS, CPC, conversion rate) to diagnose inefficiencies and identify opportunities for optimization.
- Prepare and deliver detailed reports and presentations on advertising performance and strategic updates to senior leadership, offering data-backed recommendations for improvements.
- Stay informed on industry trends, competitor strategies, and advancements in ad tech to ensure advertising strategies remain innovative and effective.
- Assess and refine processes for campaign setup, reporting, and optimizations regularly to improve the team's efficiency and accuracy.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Experience: 5-7 years in advertising, retail media, or a similar field, with experience managing multi-million-dollar budgets and cross-channel campaigns.
- Skills: Proficiency in analytics platforms (e.g., Amazon Ads, Google Ads) and experience with a DSP and retail media networks.
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of advertising, eCommerce and omnichannel marketing strategies.
- Leadership: Demonstrated ability to manage a team and lead cross-functional projects.
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Business Administration, or a related field
