The Manager of App Store Optimization and Conversion will play a critical role in the success of gaming titles. We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven individual who can track & optimize the acquisition funnel for ad creatives & app stores/landing pages to improve conversion rates. You will work across mobile and console games to evaluate and identify opportunities that increase conversion rates and improve business performance.
Job Responsibilities:
- Measure and develop insights about ad creative performance on paid and owned marketing channels, to optimize user acquisition funnels
- Design ad testing frameworks for each key ad network, based on constantly evolving best practices
- Benchmark competitor ad concepts, creative volume, and velocity of ads deployed within key genres among competitors
- Develop ad creative strategies and iterative recommendations in partnership with marketing and creative teams, based on data-driven insights
- Monitor and analyze app store and landing page performance metrics and provide insightful reports
- Implement ASO strategies and tactics to optimize user journeys on app stores and product landing pages
- Conduct keyword research, analysis and tracking to improve app store visibility and organic downloads
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure ad creative development and landing pages are aligned with marketing strategy
- Stay updated on industry trends, best practices and changes in app store and ad network algorithms to continuously improve strategies
- Utilize A/B testing and other data-driven approaches to optimize performance
- Manage and maintain relationships with app store partners, web developers, and ad networks to continuously benchmark approaches with the market
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required
- 3+ years of app store optimization and conversion experience
- Experience planning & implementing ad creative and landing page strategies for games of different genres, achieving significant app user base growth
- Strong understanding of user acquisition
- Experience with gaming tools and software (e.g. SensorTower, StoreMaven, Singular, etc.)
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and all levels of management
- Ability to project manage multiple projects with strong attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changes
- Strong presentation and communication skills
- Gaming experience preferred
