The Director of Digital Marketing will lead high-impact digital strategies to drive brand awareness, lead generation, and revenue growth across Solta Medical’s B2B (healthcare professionals) and direct-to-consumer (DTC) segments. This role will oversee integrated digital campaigns, leveraging SEO, paid media, email, marketing automation, and website optimization to generate high-quality leads that convert to revenue. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker and innovator, with deep analytical skills, capable of using competitive insights and market intelligence to optimize ROI, customer engagement, and omnichannel performance. As a key leader, the Director will manage a high-performing digital marketing team and collaborate cross-functionally to elevate Solta’s digital presence while ensuring alignment with business objectives. Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Digital Leadership & Innovation:
Define and execute a digital marketing vision that integrates B2B (HCP-focused) and DTC (consumer-facing) strategies. Identify and execute innovative digital approaches to maximize engagement, lead conversion, and revenue growth. Stay ahead of emerging digital trends, AI-driven marketing innovations, and personalization strategies. Develop a data-driven customer journey framework to enhance user experience, reduce friction, and optimize conversion rates. Conduct competitive audits to evaluate Solta Medical’s digital presence against industry competitors, identifying key opportunities for differentiation and competitive advantage. Monitor competitor digital marketing strategies, including SEO performance, paid search and social campaigns, website experience, and content marketing efforts. Provide insights into competitor messaging, ad spend, and campaign effectiveness, making data-driven recommendations for Solta’s marketing strategy. Collaborate with brand and commercial teams to refine Solta’s positioning based on market trends, competitor analysis, and emerging consumer preferences. Utilize social listening, keyword tracking, and industry reports to identify opportunities for digital growth and competitive differentiation.
Lead Generation & Performance Marketing for High ROI:
Lead data-driven digital marketing campaigns, leveraging SEO, paid search, paid social (LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok), display advertising, and website engagement. Optimize DTC campaigns to drive brand awareness, patient education, and consumer demand, while ensuring alignment with physician locator tools. Develop A/B testing and audience segmentation strategies to enhance ad performance, email engagement, and website conversions. Collaborate with sales to ensure high-quality marketing-generated leads (MQLs) convert to sales-qualified leads (SQLs) and impact revenue.
Deep Analytical Skills & Performance Measurement:
Establish clear KPIs, benchmarks, and dashboards to track campaign performance, engagement, and revenue impact. Utilize data analytics, attribution modeling, and audience segmentation to refine messaging, targeting, and spending efficiency. Lead A/B testing, conversion rate optimization (CRO), and multi-touch attribution modeling to enhance digital performance. Provide data-backed insights to marketing and commercial leadership, optimizing strategy based on competitive intelligence and ROI analysis. Audit and optimize marketing technology platforms, including website (WordPress), marketing automation (Salesforce, Marketo), and event management platforms (e.g., Cvent) to automate and scale digital initiatives. Lead website evolution and performance improvements, including Physician Finder enhancements, conversion rate optimization (CRO), and content recommendations tailored to the physician, Advanced Practice Providers (APPs), and patient journeys. Evolve email marketing strategy, refining automations, audience segmentation, and list maintenance to drive engagement and retention.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Communications, or a related field; MBA preferred. 10+ years of progressive digital marketing experience, preferably in medical aesthetics, medical device, healthcare, or other regulated industries. Deep analytical skills, with expertise in data-driven marketing, ROI modeling, attribution tracking, and predictive analytics. Proven success in competitive audits, benchmarking, and using competitive intelligence to refine marketing strategies. Proven success in executing high-ROI B2B and DTC digital campaigns with measurable impact. Expertise in SEO, paid search, paid social, email marketing, marketing automation, and website analytics. Experience with marketing automation platforms (Marketo, Salesforce, HubSpot) and website CMS (WordPress). Strong leadership and cross-functional collaboration skills, with experience managing teams and agencies. Ability to translate complex data and market trends into actionable marketing decisions that drive revenue growth. Willingness to travel up to 30%. As required by law, Bausch Health provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in the US. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and specific office location. For this role, the range of starting pay for this role is $160,841 to $241,261 per year. This position may be available in the following location(s): Bridgewater, NJ.
