About the Role
The Marketing team is seeking a strategic and hands-on Senior Web Developer to take ownership of the development of our website. This role will bring our brand to life online. Fundamentally, we believe that workplaces are better when they work for people who use them. You'll push technical and creative boundaries to deliver user-centric experiences that stand out for design.
This role is a blend of technical expertise and Jira workload management, ideal for someone who can manage, optimize, and scale our web presence while delivering initiatives. As a Web Developer, you will be responsible for evolving our website and helping our marketing team leverage data, analytics, and strategy to reach our business goals.
This is a hybrid position that requires 4 days a week (Monday - Thursday) in our San Francisco HQ.
You will
- Develop Envoy.com: Oversee the development and continuous improvement of our website, ensuring it effectively showcases our brand, products, and services
- Web Optimization: Maintain, update, and optimize our Webflow website to ensure it is performant, user-friendly, and aligned with marketing objectives
- Analytics Enablement: Implement and manage web tracking, metrics, and analytics (e.g., Google Analytics, GTM) to optimize site performance
- Content Publishing: Refine and expand our content publishing workflows, enabling cross-functional teams to create and share compelling content that drives marketing efforts and enable self-serve publishing
- Collaboration Across Teams: Partner with marketing, product, and design teams to build and enhance website features, campaigns, and marketing strategies
- Work closely with the Web Marketing Manager to ensure the website serves as a powerful tool for lead acquisition and nurturing via integrations with marketing automation tools like Marketo and Salesforce
- Quality Assurance: Execute on web-related projects, including landing page creation, A/B testing setup, SEO technical optimizations, and technical troubleshooting
- Use tools like Finsweet to implement custom experiences (e.g., dynamic integrations)
- Future-Proofing the Website: Develop strategies for scalable web solutions, ensuring our site remains modern and adaptable to evolving business needs
- 5-8 years of experience in front-end development or web management roles
- Expertise in modern web development practices
- Expertise in coding proficiency for building custom experiences, such as implementing interactive features and dynamic content using JavaScript (e.g., calculators, interactive forms, etc.)
- Proficiency with Google Tag Manager (GTM) to configure and troubleshoot GTM tags and triggers, while implementing analytics scripts effectively
- Past experience in implementing and enhancing Google Analytics tracking
- Ability to read, evaluate, and implement third-party JavaScript APIs to fulfill project requirements
- Intermediate knowledge of Figma to build and maintain Envoy's web presence
- Strong understanding of web analytics configuration and user experience design
- Built new components by extending existing components and adhering to the design system
- Experience collaborating with marketing, product, and design teams to execute integrated campaigns
- Strong technical program management skills with the ability to manage multiple web-related projects
- Leveraged advanced knowledge of Webflow or similar CMS software (Content Management Systems)
- Written and edited custom form handlers for tools like Marketo and ChiliPiper (e.g., advanced scheduling tools)
- U/X Minded: Focus on delivering excellent user experiences through design-driven development and continuous improvements in site speed, mobile optimization, and accessibility
- Aware of cookie consent laws (e.g., CPRA, GDPR) and tools like CookieBot to ensure compliance across subdomains
- Comfortable and energized operating in a fast moving organization

Compensation description
Envoy's compensation package includes market competitive salary, equity for all full-time roles, and great benefits. If you are located in San Francisco Bay Area, our expected cash compensation for this role is $133,450-$152,000(Annually).Final offers may vary within the range provided based on experience, expertise, and other factors.
