Remspace Inc (www.remspace.net) is seeking an experienced Grant Writer to support our biotech startup in securing funding through grant applications. This is a project-based contract position that can last anywhere from one month to one year, depending on project needs.
Responsibilities:
- Research and identify relevant grant opportunities from government agencies, foundations, and private organizations.
- Develop compelling grant proposals, ensuring alignment with funding requirements.
- Collaborate with scientists, executives, and other stakeholders to gather technical and financial details.
- Edit and refine proposals for clarity, accuracy, and persuasiveness.
- Manage submission timelines and ensure compliance with grant guidelines.
- Assist in post-submission follow-ups and reporting, as needed.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in grant writing, preferably in biotech, life sciences, deep tech, medicine, or a related field.
- Strong research and technical writing skills.
- Ability to understand and translate complex scientific concepts into clear, compelling narratives.
- Detail-oriented with excellent project management skills.
- Experience with federal and private grant agencies is a plus.
