Robert Half is searching for a highly skilled and detail-oriented SharePoint Designer to join our client’s team. As a SharePoint Designer, you will leverage your expertise in creating, developing, and managing SharePoint environments that align with organizational goals and user needs. This role is critical for enhancing collaboration, improving workflows, and ensuring seamless functionality across enterprise SharePoint sites.

Key Responsibilities:
- SharePoint Site Design and Development: Design and customize SharePoint sites, libraries, lists, and pages to improve functionality and user experience.
- Workflow Automation: Build, maintain, and optimize workflows using tools like Microsoft Power Automate, Nintex Forms, or SharePoint Designer workflows to streamline business processes.
- Web Part Configuration: Configure, deploy, and troubleshoot SharePoint web parts and site features per project needs.
- Customization and Branding: Implement company branding and design custom styles/themes that reflect the organization's aesthetic while adhering to best practices.
- Troubleshooting and Support: Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to SharePoint functionality, including permissions and site access.
- Content Management: Oversee content organization and ensure effective use of SharePoint libraries and document management features.
- User Training and Documentation: Prepare user manuals, training materials, and FAQs to educate employees on SharePoint usage and best practices.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with IT, business analysts, and stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver tailored SharePoint solutions.
- Upgrades and Patching: Ensure the SharePoint environment is up to date with the latest security patches and platform upgrades.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Experience: Demonstrated experience (2+ years) designing and managing SharePoint environments.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in SharePoint Online and/or SharePoint 2016/2019 architecture and functionalities.
- Advanced skills in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and XML for custom development and design.
- Experience with tools such as Power Automate, Power Apps, and Microsoft 365 integrations.
- Strong understanding of SharePoint workflows, permissions, and taxonomy.
- Knowledge of UI/UX principles for creating intuitive interfaces.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to liaise effectively with technical and non-technical teams.
- Team Player: Ability to collaborate with users and stakeholders across various departments and levels.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Microsoft SharePoint Certification (e.g., Microsoft Certified: SharePoint Developer or related certifications).
- Experience with tools like Nintex, InfoPath, or other third-party SharePoint extensions.
- Knowledge of database systems, such as SQL Server, for managing backend data used in SharePoint.
- Strong understanding of Agile or Scrum methodologies for project management.
