You have a passion for costume design, a strong understanding of the anatomy of the human form, and an appreciation for the nuances that establish believable, compelling, and relatable characters. You enjoy working with artists, designers, writers, character artists, and animators to bring characters to life for a diverse set of players around the world. The Senior Concept Artist, Characters will combine foundational art skills with an ability to use modern 2D and 3D concept development applications.Responsibilities:
Create costume designs for player and NPC characters.Create weapon designs for player and NPC characters.Create creature designs.Create anatomy, head, hair, and associated jewelry studies for characters.Research and gather necessary reference materials to guarantee a foundation of real-world principles is applied to character development process.Produce supporting character, weapon, and creature art turnarounds, style sheets/material callouts that provide clarity to content creators.Work with the Art and Creative Direction leadership to ensure that concept art maintains coherence with product creative goals.Participate in collaborative cross-discipline meetings and discussions towards team alignment for character, creature, and weapon concept art.Qualifications:
Minimum 7 years' experience as a concept artist in the entertainment and video game industry.A portfolio that demonstrates your concept art skills.We encourage you to apply, even if you don't match every qualification listed above.
