Internship.
Start Date: 5/19/2025 End Date: 8/1/2025 Approx. Hours per week: 40
Assists the Summer Sound Team with the day-to-day needs of our production. Assists House Soundman with rehearsal notes and cues, attends all rehearsals, techs and performances. Attention to detail, the ability to multi-task, are all essential to this position. Specific Responsibilities
Creating the Sound script for each production. Creating the workbook for each production. Sitting in on rehearsals and updating the script/workbook if any changes are made. Ordering essential items on Amazon at the Sound Designer's request. Finding and creating sound effects for production. Setting up the QLab file for rehearsals and the performances. Taking notes at the designer's request during Designer run(s), Tech, and Opening night. Requirements Current college student, or recent grad who has an interest in sound design or technical theater. Should express a passion for the technical side of theater. Must have a high level of organizational and communication skills. Demonstrate excellent organizational, time management and communication (written and oral) skills. Basic computer literacy is a must, with knowledge of Outlook, Google Drive and Dropbox software preferred. A working knowledge of QLab is beneficial.
Compensation and perks include pay at $7.25 per hour and tickets to each performance.
