We are seeking a Graphic Designer and Coordinator to join our Shared Services division. Together, with the momentum of our business vision, we can achieve international success and added innovation in all the themes which Dürr influences at a global level.
Position Summary:
The Graphic Designer and Coordinator work on a variety of projects including branding, print materials, digital content, promotional items, and tradeshows. Their expertise lies in visual concept development, layout design, photo/video/animation/illustration efforts, corporate design and branding consistency. This position also supports tradeshows, events, and other marketing related department projects and activities for all divisions within Dürr Systems, Inc.
Essential Functions And Responsibilities
Graphic Designer
Work with the Adobe suite of software including InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, etc.Concept and design graphics, videos, and marketing materials with high creativityEnhance and retouch photographic assetsCreate compelling and effective designs, print, digital media, brochures, flyers, posters, banners, tradeshow backdrops, HR materials, and other collateralWork within a defined but dynamic corporate design and brand systemDesign and edit templated sell sheets, brochures, reports, digital and printed materialsCreate and update Microsoft Word and PowerPoint templatesLead brand merchandise promotional item order and fulfillment processMaintain awareness of current industry and technology standards, social media, competitive landscape and market trendsWork with marketing to complete high-quality deliverables on time, for simultaneous projectsCollaborate with internal stakeholders to push projects through the review processesOther marketing and communications supportPhoto/Video/Animation/Illustration Coordination
Organize and execute photo shootings, video productions, illustrations for Dürr Systems, Inc.Identify potential projects for photo and video shootings with teamConnect with project manager and customer and request written approvalFind, negotiate and brief photographer close to project siteOrganize travel and execute shootings w/team on site if applicableSelect photos and get customer approvalDistribute approved photos to sales team and upload to Data Asset Management platformTradeshow/Event Organization
Organization and execution of tradeshows and events relative to Dürr Systems, Inc.Prepare a checklist for each show/event and execute accordinglyCommunicate and coordinate with sales/management on their expectations and needsBook show with show organizer accordingly or find agency for in-house events if applicableWork with booth builder/agency if applicableGather all relevant marketing materialsDevelop and order banners in cooperation with sales/marketing team if applicableOrder respective items relevant with show servicesOrganize outbound and inbound shippingDevelop content for social media, website and invitation and send/publishQualifications
Bachelor's degree in design or marketing preferredFive or more years of position related experienceExcellent knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) and/or other graphic design or graphic editing software preferredExperience in photographic selection, cropping, and minor retouching is essentialAbility to mockup concepts for presentationExposure to / familiarity with Dürr products and markets preferredStrong track record both as an individual contributor and as a key member of a teamAbility to work in a high-volume and fast-paced environmentStrong communication skills, approachable, and drivenManaging one's own project schedules and job ownership to meet deadlinesWork efficiently and independently in a fast-paced environment, with a "do-it-all" attitude with the ability to take on both large and small tasksAbility to work within and expand upon a dynamic corporate design and brand systemAbility to review own work for quality controlAbility to receive and implement art direction through layout revisionsAbility to work with agencies, graphic designers, printers, and other suppliersAdvanced proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPointDemonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality as requiredVery good time management skills with the ability to determine prioritiesExceptional organizational skillsAble to work well independently and in a team environmentShow flexibility as required by projectsAdaptable to change in a learning environmentPhysical Demands:
