Seeking a dynamic, motivated and detail-oriented Preditor with 3-4 years of experience to join our team on a contract basis. The ideal candidate will oversee the creative development and execution of compelling video content - primarily focused on the Nasdaq Index business - from concept to completion, inclusive of video editing.
This role requires a strong creative perspective, the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment, attention to detail for producing high-quality video content, and effective communication with stakeholders to move video projects forward by integrating creative feedback and keeping all parties informed on production progress.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee Video Development + Deployment: Working closely with a Creative Strategist, you will create and execute compelling content from start to finish, everything from ideating concepts and storyboarding to attending shoots and editing videos.
• Video Concepting: Providing creative input on how to approach video capture that follow overall client specifications and guidelines as well as the specific vision for each project.
• Pre-Production: Ideate on video concepts leveraging research and insights, create storyboards and pre-production decks inclusive of video scripting and creative outlines, storyboarding, and collaborate with production companies to ultimately bring video concepts to life.
• Video Shoots: Attend video shoots to ensure the integrity of video concepts
• Post-Production: Managing the post-production process including ingest, editing, rounds of revisions from multiple stakeholders, delivery and archive
• Video Editing: Edit short- and long-form videos for digital and social platforms, ensuring it meet the key stakeholders' specifications and guidelines
• Content Collaboration: Work closely with audience development, content teams, marketing, etc. to further elevate creative concepts and videos based on insights, performance data, creative feedback and best practices.
• Stay Current: Keep up to date with the latest video and social trends, tools, and best practices to continually improve video content.
Qualifications:
• Experience: 4+ years producing videos as well as editing videos in a professional capacity.
• Skills: Strong knowledge and experience with the entire production lifecycle, including pre-production, video capture, editing, and content delivery, experience with cinematic cameras and lighting equipment is a plus.
• Storytelling: Demonstrated expertise in crafting compelling narratives that engage and captivate diverse audiences with a deep understanding in narrative arcs, storytelling methods, and techniques. A deep understanding of the technology and financial sectors a plus.
• Video Editing: Proficient skill in video editing/post-production software, while working specifically in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects
• A track record of delivery of creative videos from inception to launch
• Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Ability to effectively collaborate and persuasively present video concepts to stakeholders in a cross-functional environment
• Act as an Owner: Exceptional problem solving and critical thinking skills; able to self-manage against production timelines and successfully balance multiple priorities simultaneously
• Attention to Detail: Keen eye for detail to ensure video concepts come to life as pitched.
• Education Qualification: A degree or relevant experience.
