Multimedia Designer I/II

For our North American headquarters, located in La Mirada, California, we have an immediate opening for a Multimedia Designer I/II.
Summary
The Multimedia Designer I/II position encompasses design and marketing work ranging from, but not limited to, assisting in the migration and daily maintenance of our Shopify CMS, some design of in-house marketing collateral, e-mail marketing in HubSpot, branding, and other web-related projects. This position is responsible for base level production design and website maintenance.

At IQAir, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. The base pay range for this position is $70,000 and most new hires start at $75,000.

Summary

This position is responsible for base level production design and website maintenance.

- Assist in base level production tasks across multiple platforms such as digital and other forms of media
- Assist in website maintenance and publish new web pages using basic website coding knowledge
- Perform quality assurance on the IQAir website design functionality and other design projects as assigned
- Ensure timing of projects coordinates with assigned deadlines and communicate project progress
- Maintain production files to increase job efficiency and ensure that files and elements are easy to locate
- Assist in editing and providing the social media images and design
- Other special projects as assigned
- Must be able to communicate in English both verbally and in written form
- Experience with Shopify CMS
- Professional experience as an interactive designer creating engaging, user-friendly designs
- Basic graphic design skills in composition, color theory and design
- Basic graphic application knowledge including Photoshop, Illustrator, Adobe Creative Suite and HTML tools
- Knowledge of E-Commerce and a basic understanding of user-centric design methodologies
- Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design, Marketing or a related field
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
- Familiarity with Wrike is a plus
- Able to pass pre-employment background and drug screen
