SCOPE:
The Graphic Designer collaborates with the creative, marketing, and digital teams to execute a variety of marketing and communications projects, both for advisor clients and for internal use. The role relies on the ability to visually communicate the brand across all projects and initiatives while maintaining a positive attitude and energy.
The ideal candidate is a proactive individual with well-developed critical thinking skills who can process, react to, and solve problems in a timely manner as they arise.
There are no supervisory responsibilities for this position.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Conceptualize, design, and refine FIG and client creative projects, including brand and corporate identity, packaging, marketing collateral, social media, sales presentations, and marketing support tools.
- Work with team members to define the project scope, objectives, and deliverables that best meet the team's needs.
- Collaborate with internal teams to maintain design consistency across all channels.
- Gain an intimate knowledge of FIG’s full range of services.
- Support all marketing and communications activities.
- Desire to produce exceptional and thoughtful design work.
- Ability to get results through proven creativity, technical skill, relentless organization, uncompromising integrity, effective communication, and a keen eye for visual detail.
- Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
- Strong drive to exceed creative and timeline expectations.
- Ability to reprioritize projects in a fast-paced environment.
Required
- Bachelor’s degree in graphic design or a related field
- 1-3+ years of graphic design experience
- Proficient knowledge of Adobe CC, including but not limited to Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, etc., with strong skills in both digital and print design.
- Proficient knowledge of presentation software, including but not limited to PowerPoint, keynote, etc.
- Outstanding visual and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to handle and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously.
- Exceptional creative flair and an innovative approach to all design projects
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Self-development skills to keep up to date with fast-changing trends
- Driven team player motivated to take responsibility and ensure successful project outcomes.
- A strong portfolio showcasing your design capabilities across various mediums
- Experience within financial services and/or the life insurance industries
- Experience with an advertising agency serving multiple unique brands
- Experience supporting independent business owners
- Experience working with Mac OS
- Experience designing websites using Wix, WordPress, and/or SquareSpace
- Knowledge of various social media channels: Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, Instagram, X (Twitter), ect.
- Agile work environment experience/knowledge
