The ideal Graphic Designer/Proposal Specialist candidate will contribute to our evolving brands and create work that is both visually pleasing and substantive in messaging.  The candidate will be part of a team that is responsible for maintaining the company's brand aesthetics, internally and externally. This includes reviewing, updating, and maintaining the company's visual representation in all aspects of design. The creative talents of the individual in this role will be utilized in digital and print applications. Additional responsibilities include supporting the Marketing Department and other departments/divisions by performing daily organizational and maintenance tasks as needed. The successful candidate will be an innovative, out-of-the-box thinker who strives for excellence and enjoys challenges. Graphic Designer/Proposal Specialist Job Responsibilities: Design, edit and produce graphics for internal and external use, including but not limited to creating layouts for bid submittals, brochures, apparel, print and digital ads, and other communication materials. Prepare files for print, web, and social media. Maintain graphic standards and brand integrity. Take direction and translate ideas and concepts to meet project objectives. Assist in marketing maintenance and asset management. Assist in organization and maintenance of marketing archive. Assist creative team in other marketing endeavors such as video production. Programs Required: Adobe software - InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat Pro, etc. Microsoft Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc. Proficiency in or ability to learn working with WordPress websites. Required Skills: Strong graphic design and layout skills Critical thinking and analytical skills Time management; prioritization of projects Excellent communication skills Multitasking and problem-solving Flexibility Ability to work individually and collaboratively Ability and willingness to work onsite at our office in Joplin, MO Education Requirements: Degree in graphic design, communications or marketing preferred but not required. Equivalent experience or ability will be considered. Additional Requirements: Demonstrable graphic design skills with a strong portfolio.
