The Senior Social Media Manager role exists to manage multiple hotel brands on platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest, LinkedIn, and TikTok. Responsibilities of this role include overseeing the creation of monthly social media calendars, graphic design, community management, and analyzing the social teams efforts to ensure efficiency. This role requires a deep understanding of social media trends and best practices. As a leader and mentor on the Social Media team, this role requires the ability to juggle multiple, competing priorities, tight deadlines, management experience, and a willingness to help with tasks to get the job done.Duties & Responsibilities: Works with the Director of Social Media and Client Strategy Team members to collaborate on social media strategies and ideate campaigns for hotelsBrainstorms, strategizes and develops engaging brand voices for social platformsProvides direct oversight, management & mentorship of designated direct reports; responsible for all areas of staff management to include performance reviews, salary discussions, training and career developmentAssists social media specialists with designing thumb-stopping social posts and videos using tools like Canva, CapCut, and Adobe SuiteCreates visually appealing Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, LinkedIn or TikTok profiles using photo editing and feed planning toolsManages copywriting and content for monthly social media calendarsMonitors social channels and contribute to engagement amongst followersAnalyzes metrics and adjust strategies to improve social media effortsEnsures insights and learnings lead to measurable actionsPresents monthly and quarterly reporting presentations to client contacts and stakeholdersStays up-to-date on industry trends and test new tools and technologyManages social media content distribution with third-party scheduling tools (Sprout Social)Works with Director of Social Media to develop new social media offerings, product enhancements, and efficiencies Champions new product designs such as Influencer Marketing ManagementRequired Skills & Experience:4-5 years professional social media management experiencePrevious management experience Bachelors degree in business, marketing, or other related field or equivalent experience in the industryDemonstrated strong storytelling and creative content writing skillsPrevious experience with a social media management tool/software, such as Sprout SocialPreferred Skills & Experience:Previous agency or travel-industry experiencePrevious experience with Influencer ManagementPhotography and/or videography experienceAdobe Suite experienceBenefits & Perks:401(k) eligibilityMedical, dental and vision benefitsShort Term Disability, Long Term Disability & Life Insurance Benefits Hybrid Work ModelGenerous PTO allowanceParental leaveVolunteering PTOProfessional & Personal DevelopmentStudent Loan Repayment Plan ContributionsWellness Reimbursement ProgramDog-friendly officeScreen Pilot is committed to creating a diverse environment and is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
