Role Overview
As a Music Teacher, you will be responsible for teaching music lessons to students according to the Guitar Center Lessons curriculum. You will work to increase student count, ensuring each student continues to grow, develop, and enjoys playing music, while nurturing our culture of integrity, inclusion, musical passion, and respect.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with store Lessons Lead to schedule and retain student headcount based on community needs
- Teach students utilizing the Guitar Center Lessons Curriculum
- Assist with customer service as needed, helping to build and maintain long-term relationships with students
- Communicate regularly with students and parents regarding progress and goals
- Additional duties as assigned
Requirements
- Previous experience in Music, Education, or related field
- Ability to teach proficiency in an instrument such as Drums, Guitar, Keyboard, etc.
- Demonstrated competency and proficiency in the instrument they will teach
