Summary of Primary Duties and Responsibilities: Are you passionate about creating impactful marketing strategies that drive growth and success? As a key member of our dynamic team, you'll lead the charge in developing comprehensive marketing plans for a variety of customer products and programs.
What You'll Do: * Lead and Collaborate: Work closely with internal and external cross-functional teams to develop and execute innovative marketing campaigns across owned, earned, and paid channels while actively contributing to new product development initiatives. * Drive Customer Enrollment: Focus on increasing customer enrollment in energy-focused residential home protection products, while also supporting B2B marketing efforts for commercial solar products. * Create Customer-Centric Campaigns: Use insights and strategy to design marketing campaigns that target customers throughout the marketing funnel, offering suitable product options and driving conversions to meet enrollment targets. * Present and Optimize: Present campaign recaps, metrics, and findings to stakeholders, identify priorities, and make actionable recommendations for campaign optimization. Continuously evaluate campaign performance to enhance the overall customer experience. * Research and Analyze: Conduct basic market research in collaboration with our Research team to identify customer needs and effective communication strategies for new products. Quantify the costs and benefits of marketing strategies to support business case ROI analysis

The marketing team offers a flexible hybrid working model, with team members working together in the office three days a week.
Duties and Responsibilities: * Develop and execute customer focused marketing and Go-To-Market strategies: o Create and execute marketing strategies, campaigns and journeys that enhance customer engagement and grow product participation. Execute marketing and product campaigns including, strategy, messaging, paid media buys, creative coordination, tactical outreach, measurement, and budget management. o Own and present all strategies, acting as SME liaison within marketing department. Partner with teams to ensure consistent and relevant approach in all tactics addressing customers. o Pair innovative ideas with established tactics to reach a wide range of customer demographics * Collaboration and Knowledge: o Become the go-to expert on your product portfolio, while also working to understand all products and services, and continually growing your knowledge of the overall business. o Develop a positive relationship with product managers and partners. Maintain a frequent cadence of communication to ensure product marketing efforts are satisfying goals and staying on track. o Collaborate with product team during the ideation, development, testing, launch, and post-launch phases of new products. o Work with internal groups, including product managers, to understand Evergy's product portfolio and achieve enrollment goals. Work with the Marketing Communication and Corporate Communication Teams to create and execute marketing and communication tactics for cross channel promotion. * Know the customer: o Identify, develop and analyze audience outreach strategies and opportunities for engagement. o Develop tactical outreach * Provide measurement and reporting: o Create and maintain scalable, repeatable methods of measurement and performance tracking for campaigns. Use A/B testing and analytics to make strategic marketing decisions. o Develop and present marketing campaign results to internal and external partners.
Education and Experience Requirements: * Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism or related discipline. * 3-5 years (II) 6-10 years (SR) experience within a corporate marketing department or at a marketing/communications agency * Bonus - Past experience and success with product marketing and reaching product goals
Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities Required: * Proven ability to build consensus and work effectively within a cross-departmental team. Ability to collaborate, influence and work cooperatively with key team members, vendors, and partners, demonstrating strategic thinking, creativity, and enthusiasm for reaching goals. * Client-service mentality and ability -- Anticipate and identify business partner and product needs, forming recommendations, and articulating these recommendations to stakeholders. * Demonstrated understanding of marketing strategy and execution. Understand how efforts support brand positioning, while being mindful of how individual tactics tie into overall corporate initiatives. * Clear understanding of how to utilize segmentation and marketing automation for creating strategies, campaigns, and tactics. Strong analytical skills, and an ability to translate data into actionable recommendations. * Proven experience in multi-channel marketing (ex: direct mail, email, search, social) with expertise in optimizing campaigns using specific metrics and KPIs, driving measurable results. * Excellent written and verbal communication, including developing key messages and presentations. * Will be a team player with a positive attitude, flexible but determined, detailed, and organized and above all, results oriented. Proven ability to work independently and make progress while keeping supervisor appropriately informed and consulted. * Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint, and familiar with Desktop Publishing.
