Managing all film acquisition activities/efforts at festivals and markets (e.g., Sundance, Cannes, TIFF, etc) Maintain comprehensive tracking of film festival submission deadlines and requirements Process and manage festival accreditations for team members Coordinate travel arrangements and accommodations for festival attendance Schedule and organize festival meetings, screenings, and related events Publish a Festival Recap (summarizing the plot and coverage for every film) Covering/screening all finished films, provide screening reports, elevating films to consider for acquisitions Covering scripts/packages that are submitted for consideration as acquisitions Coordinate screenings for all priority acquisition opportunities as well as screenings of various cuts for acquired films BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
2+ years experience in acquisitions or sales planning at a major studio, distribution company, network or streaming platform Experience writing script coverage and giving notes on scripts and other creative materials Experience assessing industry talent and trends Bachelor’s degree Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills Excellent story skills Strong knowledge of industry talent and trends Web-savvy: familiar with online video environment PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $55,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $119,600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
