As a Creative Director (Copy), you will manage a team that pushes boundaries, and champions out-of-the-box thinking. Responsible for crafting program concepts that drive consumer engagement, you will be leading and working with a group that cares about producing effective, head-turning brand engagements as much as they care about other people.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE ORGANIZATION
As Creative Director (Copy), you will take a lead role at tms, delivering work that drives engagement and breaks through the clutter of the mundane. You should enjoy mentoring and growing a team of creative art directors, designers and writers alongside the Associate Creative Director while championing your vision for the work. Additionally, you will partner closely with Strategy and Account leads to ensure the work from your creative team meets the criteria set within the creative brief.
Lastly, as Creative Director (Copy) you should be a dynamic leader who is deeply engaged with our client's business and the vision of tms while providing a strong presence in day-to-day operations as well as long-term vision for their business.
Responsibilities:
This role will work closely with the Creative leadership team and cross-functional driving the ideation and execution of various client programs and brand promotions.
- Leads the creative concepting process and sets the Creative Direction for the Big Idea, pushing boundaries and taking calculated risks for all creative projects with diverse sets of solutions
- Works alongside our Strategy team in developing creative briefs that lead to break-through thinking and effective, results-oriented work for our clients
- Confidently presents fresh perspective and big idea thinking (that is strategically grounded) to a larger group or to our clients
- Thoroughly understands our client's overall business, objectives, competitors, and targets to inform insightful brand engagements
- Manages, mentors, and grows our copywriting and creative talent while elevating our copy discipline
- Allocates resources, manages day-to-day projects, profitability, and project planning
- Meets creative and project expectations, while measuring and improving efficiency
- Positively participates in discussions that make the work and creative environment better
- Collaborates with clients and internal partners: marketing, technology, product, developers etc.
- 10+ years of creative copywriting experience in an agency or brand space
- 5+ years leading creatives as a supervisor and manager
- Expert proficiency and considerable hands-on experience with Microsoft Office products (Including Microsoft Word and PowerPoint)
- Exceptional presenter, able to confidently speak to senior clients, leadership and discipline leads
- Expert writing skills in terms of voice, narrative, and story flow
- Ability to oversee and lead all content creation for promotions, social, brand campaigns, brand guidelines, online advertising, site content, etc.
- Strong portfolio with examples of recent projects demonstrating creative thinking and flawless execution
- Deep interest in technology, culture, and marketing trends
- Background and familiarity working within the fintech space
- Experience developing tv and/or online video scripts, and knowledge of the production, casting, and execution of them
- Have critical attention to detail (when it comes to copy and the copy craft)
- Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage and prioritize multiple client projects and demands at once
