Base pay range
$95,000.00/yr - $130,000.00/yr
We’re looking for a strategic thinker with a passion for talent development, organizational growth, and creative innovation. The head of artist training & development will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of talent development within the company, balancing operational excellence with strategic priorities.
This role will lead the creation and management of tailored training programs, leveraging HYBE Korea T&D center resources. This role also involves setting KPIs, tracking trainee progress, managing external partners, and facilitating communication with trainees and parents. The ideal candidate will oversee scheduling, performance evaluations, and program execution while ensuring alignment with organizational goals, creative vision, and market trends.

[Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities]
Program Development
- Design and implement U.S.-tailored training programs utilizing resources from the HYBE Korea T&D center to meet project goals.
- Establish and monitor KPIs to evaluate trainee progress and ensure the programs align with market and customer demands.
- Conduct industry trend research to assess trainee suitability and refine curriculum as needed.
- Drive long-term talent development strategies aligned with company goals, focusing on sustainable growth and innovation.
- Strategically orient training initiatives to emphasize long-term organizational priorities and foster cultural innovation within the T&D ecosystem.
External Partner Management
- Identify and onboard qualified external partners (e.g., instructors, coaches) to support the curriculum and creative direction.
- Act as a liaison between internal stakeholders and external partners, ensuring clear communication and alignment with project goals.
- Collaborate with external partners to create daily and monthly class schedules, maintaining a safe and productive learning environment.
- Monitor and evaluate partner performance, providing regular reports to leadership.
Trainee Management and Communication
- Ensure trainees are fully informed of project objectives, curriculum structure, and performance expectations through consistent communication.
- Facilitate feedback loops to enhance trainee experiences and optimize training delivery.
- Manage communications regarding contracts, program execution, performance updates, and evaluations.
Program Budget & Accounting Management
- Oversee the planning and allocation of budgets, ensuring effective use of human and financial resources to meet project requirements.
- Track expenditures and prepare monthly reports detailing spending and its impact on project outcomes.
- Maintain transparency in budget utilization for both trainees and the company.
Facility Management and Casting Support
- Oversee the management and utilization of T&D facilities to maximize efficiency and effectiveness.
- Support casting teams by aligning talent discovery and acquisition methodologies with the training program’s goals.
- Incorporate cultural innovation to create a dynamic and inspiring training environment.
Innovation and Experimentation
- Foster a culture of experimentation and innovation to constantly improve the T&D program’s processes and outcomes.
- Encourage creative problem-solving and proactive adaptation to new trends within the industry.
[Qualifications]
Required:
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in strategy, operations, or project management.
- Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Proven experience managing long-term projects with external partners.
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, and time-management skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively across teams and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office/G Suite and office management software.
- Patience and enthusiasm for youth development, with cultural sensitivity toward trainees.
- Clear background check and ability to manage confidential information.
- Strong analytical skills to interpret industry trends and trainee performance data.
Preferred:
- Strong preference for experience in the music industry; additional experience in sports or performance arts industries is also valuable.
- Understanding of overall social content and/or music and dance creative production process.
- Creative problem-solving mindset and a passion for mentoring talent.
- Background in youth and leadership development.
