Position Summary

The Multimedia and Animation & Game Art programs at Allan Hancock College, Santa Maria, are seeking applications to develop a qualified pool of part-time faculty for potential vacancies. Positions are available as needed during the Fall and/or Spring semesters of the 2025-2026 academic years.

Essential Functions and Qualifications

Responsibilities may include teaching courses in areas such as 2D or 3D Animation, 3D Modeling, Motion Graphics, Game and App Design, and Multimedia. Successful candidates should demonstrate sensitivity to, understanding of, and ability to manage a diverse classroom environment and provide effective instruction to students from various socio-economic, cultural, disability, gender identity, sexual orientation, and ethnic backgrounds.

Minimum Qualifications

Any bachelor's degree with two years of professional experience, or any associate degree with six years of professional experience, or equivalent qualifications.

Additional Information

Salary: Lecture Rate: $65.74 to $86.44 per hour depending on education and experience.
Lab Rate: $57.27 to $75.26 per hour depending on education and experience.
Activity Rate: $37.13 to $50.62 per hour depending on education and experience.
