Title: Marketing Communications Specialist/Copywriter - PART TIME (Health care industry preferred) - Hybrid Mandatory skills: Project Management, Corporate Communications claims adjudication systems, Health Industry Background Microsoft Office, Excel, Word edit content, corporate intranet, OneSight Web site communication plan development, program online surveys, Zoomerang software Internal Media, Central Purchasing, Graphic Designers Description: Sr. Specialist Regulatory Communications Specific Skills Needed: Top 3-5 mandatory and/or minimum requirements Highly proficient in Microsoft Office products Health Industry Background w/ Claims Experience Project Management Top 3-5 desirable attributes/qualifications Working knowledge of claims adjudication systems (i.e. Facets) Understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements GENERAL FUNCTION: The client is seeking a communications professional to provide full time support to the Corporate Communications team on a contract basis. Core responsibilities include copy writing and editing across a variety of online and print corporate communication channels. The Communications Coordinator will also be responsible for developing/managing project-based communications plans and projects. Major Duties/Responsibilities: Research, interview, write and edit content for a variety of online and print corporate communications channels including the client’s corporate intranet, OneSight Web site and other channels/materials. Support communication plan development and implementation across the team (on a project basis as assigned). Develop and program online surveys using Zoomerang software (training will be provided) and track/report results. Communication with Others Internal Corporate Communications and Internal Media team members, including Graphic Designers Internal department clients, including Central Purchasing, OneSight team and others Interview subjects (including leaders/professionals at all levels of the organization) External May have occasional contact with vendors and community partners Knowledge and Skills: Exceptional writing, grammar and spelling Fluent in Microsoft Office (primarily Excel and Word) Detail-oriented, passion for accuracy Ability to target writing for different audiences and mediums Excellent ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines and priorities Proactive and results-driven Strong critical thinking and problem solving skills EXPERIENCE Communications experience (including writing) in a corporate, agency or nonprofit environment and/or freelance experience preferred. EDUCATION Bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism or related field.
