Our Client is looking for a Technical Writer (FISMA) supporting Fort Novosel, AL.
Specific duties include, but are not limited to the following:
- Provide technical, administrative, and operational leadership to assigned project or tasks.
- DoD technical documentation development, parlance, and regulatory guidance.
- Working knowledge and user experience with MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Outlook, MS Project, and Microsoft Visio.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills, interpersonal relationship skills, demonstrating the ability to communicate verbally and in writing.
- Maintains current knowledge of relevant technology as assigned.
- Participates in special projects as required.
- Knowledge of Army or DoD Information Management and Security processes and procedures.
- Collaborate with technical professionals to create, edit, and finalize documentation required for FISMA projects.
Certifications (IAT Level II)
One of the following:
- CCNA Security
- CySA+
- GICSP
- GSEC
- Security+ CE
- CND
- SSCP
Required Skills
- At least 4 years of experience in technical editing and writing with a focus on FISMA projects.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
Candidates must be US citizens able to obtain and/or maintain a Department of Defense Secret security clearance as a condition of employment.
