We are seeking a
UX Researcher
on a
contract basis
to help support our customer’s business needs. This role is
on-site in Burlingame, CA.
This role will be responsible for planning and executing user experience research studies for multiple prototype products. You’ll work closely with research staff and other UX researchers to inform study design and conduct data collection with human participants. You will conduct data analysis and prepare reports to summarize key findings for cross-functional engineering and product partner teams.
Responsibilities
Work closely with researchers, designers, PMs & engineers, to define and execute user research studies that will directly inform product design Submit potential projects through the research review and privacy process Strictly adhere to privacy and safety standards when working directly with participants or participant data Collaboratively and independently develop and execute research roadmaps Led various research studies throughout all the phases of the product development cycle Conduct original data analysis and prepare presentations to communicate research findings Manage research vendors to help augment the work of the research team
Skills And Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in a human behavior-related field, such as human-computer interaction, psychology, sociology, communication, information science, media studies, computer science, or economics 2+ years of experience designing and executing human subjects user research studies, as well as demonstrated data analysis and presentation skills. 2+ years of experience designing and executing UX research studies. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Experience with Python, R, MATLAB, or equivalent for data analysis.
Preferred
Master's degree or higher in a human behavior-related field, such as human-computer interaction, psychology, sociology, communication, information science, media studies, computer science, or economics Familiarity with optical experience Independent research analysis skills
