As a trusted provider of electric services in East Central Oklahoma, we are growing our digital presence and are looking for a creative, tech-savvy Social Media Manager to help tell our story, engage our audience, and elevate our brand online.
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Social Media Manager to oversee our online presence across all major social media platforms. This is a remote position, offering the flexibility to work from anywhere while collaborating with a dedicated and supportive team. The ideal candidate is both creative and analytical, with a passion for storytelling, digital trends, and building online communities.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and manage social media strategies to increase brand awareness and engagement.
- Create, curate, and schedule original content (graphics, video, copy) across Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, and emerging platforms.
- Monitor, respond to, and engage with followers, members, and community inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
- Analyze campaign performance, create reports, and use insights to continuously improve social media efforts.
- Stay up to date with the latest social media trends, tools, and best practices.
- Collaborate with internal teams (communications, member services, leadership) to align social media efforts with broader company goals.
- Manage social media advertising campaigns and budget to support key initiatives.
- Act as a brand ambassador, ensuring consistent tone, voice, and visual identity across platforms.
- Proven experience as a Social Media Manager or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of social media platforms, analytics tools, and content management systems.
- Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills.
- Creative mindset with the ability to think outside the box.
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines.
- Familiarity with graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or related field preferred or equivalent work experience.
