REPORTS TO: Design Supervisor SUMMARY Responsible for creating artwork and original graphics to assist Sales Representatives in sales promotions. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Formulate and communicate ideas for new artwork analyzing customer needs and production feasibility. Accompany Sales Representatives on occasion to present new artwork to customers. Have knowledge of various art equipment. Frequent use of Amtech-(Purchase Order) program to insure tooling orders Knowledge of and comfort using Windows and graphics software. Mac Based-Creative Cloud-Illustrator-Photoshop-Acrobat- must have knowledge of. 3-D Software-Modeling Using Excel Handle various art-related projects for company management Comply with all company policies and procedures, including safety and maintain good housekeeping Additional duties may be assigned by management. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE College education or heavy college coursework in the field of computers, CAD, and drafting, or applicable work experience. Good communicator with customers and sales staff. Candidates are PREFERRED who offer the following: Work experience in a related field (corrugated, packaging, etc.).Printing-Litho/Flexography Drafting education or experience. TECHNICAL SKILLS The individual must have a working knowledge of the following: Equipment design and capabilities that can be translated into efficient operation. Product layouts and production specifications Product quality specifications Quality standards PHYSICAL DEMANDS The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the functions of this job.
