Overview
We are seeking a dynamic Supervisor, Media Analyst to optimize media spending, enhance the effectiveness of client investments, and ensure strategic alignment across campaigns. This role combines data-driven decision-making with strategic media planning and involves leading both technical analytics initiatives and client-facing media strategy. The successful candidate will manage internal and external relationships while providing thought leadership to help drive the team’s success.
Key Responsibilities
35% Strategic Planning & Media Solutions:
- Supervise insights which inform tactical recommendations for clients.
- Oversee reporting and analysis of campaigns (all media), ensuring accurate data and presenting insights to clients.
- Manage the progress of reporting deliverables, ensure recommended optimizations are applied to future campaigns.
- Understand and guide the application of attribution models, tools, and their benefits for campaign effectiveness.
- Lead research initiatives to identify tools and resources for consumer insight gathering and strategic planning.
- Stand up closed-loop and attribution solutions for key client verticals, maintain and partner with internal teams on insights
- Drive analytic efforts to support new product launches and strategic initiatives.
- Improve the use of Horizon's data and analytics infrastructure, working with stakeholders to refine & streamline process
- Develop and use automation and technology to increase efficiency and scalability, opportunity to bring "outside-in" perspective to explore and implement best practices.
- Provide thought leadership to advance Horizon’s media analytics capabilities through innovation and strategic insights.
- Anticipate client requests and proactively provide solutions by troubleshooting with internal teams.
- Partner with business solutions and investment team leads on performance calls, status updates, offering strategic insights and points of view to clients.
- Work closely with investment teams to ensure successful campaign execution and manage performance within flight.
- Partner with senior leadership to understand and deliver on clients’ holistic business needs as it relates to media informed insights
- Build and maintain strong relationships with core clients, internal partners
- Serve as a mentor to junior team members, providing guidance on professional development and managing performance to maximize success.
- Foster a collaborative team environment, promoting both junior and senior team members’ work and encouraging growth and skill development.
- Participate in the hiring process for junior team members and help build a diverse, inclusive team culture.
- Reports to the SVP, Business Solutions team
- Opportunity to potentially build additional team members or expand within Horizon with a focus on developing both analytical and media strategy talent.
- Data-driven strategist with a passion for using analytics to shape media strategies and drive campaign success.
- Creative problem solver with a strong ability to translate complex data insights into actionable strategies for clients.
- Technically proficient in data mining tools (SQL, R, Python, SAS) and / OR have experience working with large datasets, predictive modeling, and media analytics.
- Effective communicator with the ability to present both technical findings and strategic recommendations clearly to clients and internal stakeholders.
- Collaborative team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is comfortable managing multiple priorities and projects simultaneously.
- 4+ years of experience in advanced analytics, media strategy, or a related field, with a strong foundation in performance media and data analytics.
- Experience developing strategic media recommendations, working with multiple media channels, and leading media account projects.
- Mentorship experience, with a demonstrated ability to guide and develop junior team members.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and media research/reporting tools.
- Business acumen and the ability to understand and leverage data to support strategic decision-making.
- Strong problem-solving skills, able to work through ambiguity and manage change.
- Detail-oriented, with a strong commitment to follow-through.
- Flexible and nimble, thriving in dynamic and fast-paced environments.
- Strong leadership abilities, with a passion for developing talent and fostering an inclusive, collaborative team culture.
- A creative thinker who is open to challenging the status quo and improving processes.

Salary Range
$125,000.00 - $150,000.00
A successful applicant’s actual base salary may vary based on factors such as individual’s skill sets, experience, training, education, licensure/certifications, and qualifications for the role. As an organization, we take an aptitude and competency-based hiring approach.
