Pay: $35/h - $40/h

Required Skills and Experience:

• 2-4+ years of enterprise technical writing experience
• Proven ability to collaborate with cross functional teams remotely (engineering, community, business stakeholders)
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience

Nice to Have Skills and Experience:

• Love of gaming
• Experience writing technical editorial content preferred
• Fluent in markdown language, procedural writing
• Working in GitHub
• Ability to take ownership over final project and keep end user in mind (when others cannot)
• Experience working with developers
• Independent research of Community Creators Youtube videos

An employer is looking for a Technical Writer in the Redmond, WA area (also remote). This individual will join a AAA game franchise in aiding the player community with tools to create their own content for the game. They will be tasked to meet with engineers and have the technical background to autonomously be able to interpret what the developer is saying and create the necessary documentation. Additionally, they will meet with the franchise community team to make sure it fits what the player is seeking when creating their own content.

This Technical Writer needs to have excellent written and verbal communication and needs to be successful collaborating with various cross functional teams remotely - this will be the key to ramping up and adding value quickly.
