Audio-Visual Manager Position Summary
The Jr. Audio-Visual technician will provide technical support that ensures the proper operation, maintenance, monitoring, testing and repair of complex networked AV equipment and control systems.
Responsibilities- Ensures all events requiring audio/visual needs are accounted for, such as meetings, banquets, and special events
- Assist the daily operation of all in-house AV systems and additional inventory of audio/visual equipment and to ensure it is in good operating condition, including responsibility to ensure preventative maintenance is done on all necessary equipment
- Setup and operation of virtual meetings on streaming platforms
- Responsible for supervising outside A/V vendors contracted to support live events
- Set up, break down, move, and connect equipment as needed
- Day to day customer support agent
- Works with TMC Managers to ensure proper meeting and event setup is specified and provided for each event
- Minimum 1-3 years of audio/visual operations (engineering, live production, audio/visual systems) experience required
- Excellent customer service, communication, and organizational skills required
- Demonstrated knowledge of audio-visual systems and equipment
- MS Office Suite Proficient
- Zoom/MS Teams/Webex platform experience preferred
- A/V applicable certifications preferred (Crestron, Dante, Qsys, Extron, BiAmp, etc.)
- Functional experience working with: Dante, NVX, HdBT, IP, AMX, Extron, SDI, ST-2110
- Flexible schedule to accommodate events, including early mornings, late nights and weekends.
