Job Functions and Responsibilities :
At our headquarters located in one of the fastest growing metro areas in the U.S., Summit is seeking a motivated and talented Digital Marketing Specialist to drive our digital strategy and tactical execution.
Collaborate with internal and external teams from all public-facing departments throughout our regional U.S. footprint.Manage new public website scheduled to launch in Summer 2024, including application updates, metrics management, app integrations, and page builds and updates (supported by the creative team and marketing management).Perform continuous analysis and improvement of organic SEO.Implement lifecycle marketing to prospects and customers, using sales department data, email automation, and content marketing techniques (supported by creative team).Participate in digital ad strategy and implementation while tracking campaign results and analyzing ROI.Manage and improve our presence on video marketing platforms (YouTube, Vimeo).Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders and business collaborators.Occasionally train fellow employees on related digital tools and apps, especially website CMS.Maintain specialized knowledge and continuous improvement of digital initiatives and innovation as subject matter expert.Perform other related duties as assigned.Qualifications:
Ideal candidate is a digital marketing generalist with broad-based knowledge and 5+ years of successful experience in a corporate, agency, or consulting organization.Key areas of expertise: website/CMS management and page building (Wordpress + builders), email automation and content marketing, Google Analytics 4, SEO implementation and analysis (Semrush experience helpful), digital ad platforms, and ability to learn new technology quickly.Proven understanding of marketing practices and principles.Solid understanding of the logistics of managing a digital marketing tech stack.Project management acumen with the ability to juggle multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and maintain attention to detail.Ability to move effortlessly between creative and analytical thinking.Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills.Command of verbal and written English.Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent experience.Helpful, not required, to have experience in financial services (especially insurance).The person hired for this position will work out of the Lakeland, FL office which offers a hybrid work environment of 3 days in the office and 2 days' work from home.
