Immediate need for a talented Technical Writer . This is a 09+months contract opportunity with long-term potential and is located in Philadelphia, PA (Onsite). Key Responsibilities: Responsible for creation and maintenance of IT documentation. Translates technical and/or complicated information into clear, concise documents appropriate for various target audiences. Works with Development, Quality Assurance and Technical Support to produce a wide variety of technical publications including instructional materials, technical manuals, product documentation and the like for use by both the IT and business community. Needs to start documenting on how they do things. Working with mostly Telecom Engineers (Connect group) - must have good personal and communication skills. Diagram, document, architect and provide a view for non-technical people. Consistent track record for producing these documents. Proficient in explaining technical documents. Previous Client experience a big plus. Needs to be adaptable, able to pivot quickly. Engineers are responsible for coming up with the content, this person will pair with them to start translating to a document to take to a partner. Knowledge management background. Key Requirements and Technology Experience: Key Skills:Technical Writing ,Working with Telecom Engineering Teams ,Telecom Industry/Domain . Proven experience in doing tech writing . Strong writing, editing and proofreading . Excellent communication and collaboration skills; able to self-manage .
