Burrow Global is seeking an experienced
I&E Designer – Walk Down Specialist
to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience as an I&E designer creating redline markups. This position will last at least 12 months and be onsite at a petrochemical plant in Deer Park, TX. 8 hour M-F shift schedule. Candidates will be performing walk-downs, reviewing existing engineering drawings and identifying issues that need to be corrected. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to diverse projects and work closely with our field teams to ensure project accuracy and success. Key Responsibilities: - Ability to read and understand schematic diagrams, electrical drawings, and Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs) - Perform site walk-downs to confirm drawing details are accurate and correct. -Document any errors in the drawing, create the red lines needed to be updated the drawing design team. - Ability to access engineering drawings from the clients’ engineering vault. -When needed modify and update engineering drawings using AutoCAD. - Validate equipment locations and confirm equipment lists to ensure project details - Collaborate with project teams to ensure design integrity and compliance Qualifications: Associates degree in drafting and design or a related area - 3-5 years of I&E design experience - Ability to walk down work sites to verify project details - Experience taking measurements and creating sketches, validating equipment lists and locations, creating redline markups. - Experience with AutoCAD. - Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills - Ability to work independently and as part of a team -Active TWIC Card Equal Opportunity Employer This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.For further information, please review the Know Your Rights notice from the Department of Labor.
