Visualization Engineer (3340) at Navarro Inc. in Idaho Falls, Idaho, United States Job Description Navarro Research and Engineering is recruiting a Visualization Engineer for Idaho Falls, ID. This is a part time onsite position. Provide support to the IEC Environmental Restoration GIS Lead in the preparation of maps and figures for inclusion in reports, plans, and other regulatory deliverables; assist in the development and maintenance of maps and GIS project data sets and performing GIS system maintenance and editing tasks. + Preparation of maps and figures + Development and maintenance of GIS dataset + GIS system maintenance and editing Requirements + Four-year degree in GIS, geospatial technologies, or related field + 2-4 years of experience using GIS in a professional setting + Proficient in producing maps in Arc GIS Desktop and ArcGIS Pro + Experience using a wide variety of GIS software tools + Experience editing GIS data with a high degree of accuracy + Skills and experience with cartographic design + Understanding of coordinate systems + Ability to identify problems and work in a team environment to find solutions + Able to work with established workflows and manage multiple tasks + Use and knowledge of GPS and field surveying Due to the nature of the government contract requirements and/or clearances requirements, US citizenship is required.
